    Mayakovsky’s Runner

Concept album by The Mercurial Man

This is the second album I’ve written and produced. My first was “the Prophet” back in 2009, a wild maniac electronic-rock opera, a shock opera, technopera, or something akin to Justice’s Space Opera IRIS from 2020.

Mayakovsky’s Runner is a different kind of album though, exploring cinematic boulevards and video gaming avenues of an electronic musicians dreams in a broke down 2000 Buick Regal named Jasper as a love letter to his fiancée who is so far away. It follows the exploits of the Mercurial Man as he journeys into the dystopian cyberpunk cesspool that is Dead City.

Join them on their romp through ancient Athens as pirates, philosophers, and pragmatic women shape the fate of one of the greatest thinkers this world has ever seen, Socrates.
